Marks 50th (Medieval Dinner)

We had a call from Mark Adams of Spring Hill Farm Pitsford asking us to photograph his 50^th Birthday party, which of course we were delighted to do. After a meeting with Mark it turned out the party was in fact a medieval dinner at Highgate House, complete with minstrels and a jester, with all guests in costume where Mark took centre stage dressed as Henry VIII. The whole thing was a great success. Everyone congregated in the drawing room then moved on for the meal to the Baronial hall, which lent itself perfectly to this type of function, complete with a minstrel’s gallery looking out over the room. Photographically it was challenging; little space to move around the room due to the number of people seated for dinner, keep out of the staffs way as they worked and avoid getting them in shots as they were not in costume and most importantly not intrude on events. After the meal some went back to the Drawing room while some went down to the cellar bar where there was a disco.

Dan & Hayley

Almost a year ago, Dan and Hayley got all dressed up and walked down the aisle towards a future as husband and wife.
We hope their first year of marriage was wonderful, and the future gets even better! We have known Dan and Hayley for quite a while now so were delighted when they asked us to photograph their wedding on 27^th October 2012.

Dan and Hayley took their vows on a bitterly cold day at Holy Trinity Church and the reception was held at the Sedgebrook Hall.

Restoration

Someone brought an old badly damaged photograph of his dad’s squadron with a plane from 1946 and asked if I could restore it.

Adrian & Tracy

We were really pleased when Adrian and Tracy approached us to photograph their wedding, last September. The wedding was held last Saturday (28^th September 2013) and although we had bad weather prior to the wedding, the actual day itself was dry.

Adrian and Tracy had both the marriage service and wedding reception at The Courtyard Hotel Stanwick. The venue allows the guests to mingle inside or spread outside onto the patio and lawns.

Adrian and Tracy have been together for 19 years and it’s obvious they are still very much in love. We wish them all the best for the future.

Tony & Leanne

Sunday 25^th August 2013. We would like to offer our congratulations to Tony & Leanne. The weather was difficult as it was so bright and hot, everyone felt like they were melting and eventually sought shelter inside. The stark sun and little cloud cover was a challenge at times, but didn’t dampen either ours or the bride and groom’s enthusiasm to create some lovely images and have a great day in the process. Tony & Leanne had both the marriage service and wedding reception at Dunchurch Park Hotel, Warwickshire.

Craig & Emma

We would like to take this opportunity to wish Craig & Emma a very happy 1^st wedding anniversary and hope this is the first of many.

They are a great couple and it was a pleasure getting to know them and their guests whilst photographing their wedding.

The wedding was held at Daventry Registry Office, whilst the reception was at Daventry Town Football Club. The weather was good as you can see from the selection of images below.

Latter we also had a very enjoyable morning photographing their Trash the Dress images. Unfortunately Emma had to cry off of today’s Baby Bump shoot as she’s ill but we hope to reschedule before the birth of their twins.
