Merry Christmas

My youngest grandson, Jason, helped me out with the shoot for our Christmas card this year. I had a great time and I think he did to.   I’ll post a few more images from this shoot in the New Year.

Richmond Park

We’d heard about the deer in Richmond Park roaming free and thought it would be nice to try to photograph them.

It was October before commitments allowed us the time to go, however we felt this was an ideal time as it’s coming to the end of the rutting season with the males fighting for females.

Unfortunately the weather was quite warm and dry so we knew we wouldn’t get the misty moody photographs we were hoping for, but we did get some great shots.

Ella’s Cake Smash

I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph Ella, on her first birthday smashing a cake.  She’s a lovely confident girl.   

We had a great time even though she insisted on sharing, everyone got a little messy, especially dad who got plastered.

Mark & Janette

You may recall last year we were lucky enough to photograph John & Sophie’s wedding.  Well, on the strength of that, we were contacted by Mark & Janette and asked to cover their wedding photography (Mark is Sophie’s brother).

We were delighted for the opportunity as they are genuinely a nice crowd of people that are up for a laugh.

The whole wedding was conducted at The Orangery at Whittlebury Park.  Whilst the weather was very hot and sunny, there wasn’t a lot of shade which gave us some very harsh shadows to contend with.
