Engagement shoot

| |
When John and Sophie asked for an engagement shoot, as they were worried they might look awkward in their wedding photos, we were more than happy to help.

They decided the shoot should take place in the grounds of the church where they’re getting married.  It’s a very small village church and like a lot of them it could do with some TLC.

We all had a good time and we got some great shots.  This session put their minds at rest and at the end of the shoot they couldn’t wait for the real thing this time next year.

Shane & Leonie

We were pleased when Shane and Leonie approached us to photograph their wedding, especially when we found out we had been highly recommended from Tracey a previous bride and also Jane a lovely lady whose family we photographed a number of times as they grew up.  Leonie now works with them both.

The weather was dry and warm but a little overcast, ideal conditions for photography.
The marriage service and reception were both held at the Holiday Inn Geddington Road Corby.  While this is a nice venue we were pushed for green space outside.

Below is a small selection of images from the day. Friends and family can view all the images, on our website wedding gallery all you need to do is ask the happy couple for the username and password.  Please like our Facebook page.

"Do you need a professional Wedding Photographer?"

| |

Only you can answer that, but bear these thoughts in mind:
- There is only one chance to get it right.
- We only use professional equipment, and spend days getting the images correct for production.
- We always carry spare equipment - just in case.
- We are fully insured for third party liability and professional indemnity (have you considered wedding insurance?)

Don't leave anything to chance, quality photography is not necessarily out of reach.

You have the venue organised, beautiful flowers, the stunning dress ... don't take the chance on amateur photography!

Your wedding day is the most important day of your life and your wedding photography is the perfect way to record it. Once your dress has been boxed away, the flowers have faded and the cake has been cut, all that remains are your recollections of the day and your wedding day photographs to ensure that those memories never fade.

After your wedding you don’t want to be pulling your hair out because (as the previous blog said)    you have no decent photos of your big wedding because you skimped on your photographer so you could put the money towards your big day.

So again the question is

Do you need a professional photographer?
