Anyone that knows me knows how I love wildlife, so I was
especially pleased when a sparrowhawk came into our garden. It visited every day, sometimes more than once,
for about 4 days. It was a thrill to just sit and watch it. However the down side was it was very good at
catching sparrows and now, at least a week after we last saw the hawk, all the
small birds have stopped coming to the garden.
