Hetti’s Cake Smash

We’ve been lucky enough to photograph little Hetti a couple of times already.  Although initially she didn’t want to get dirty, eventually with a lot of coaxing, she settled down and got suitably messy and I think she even enjoyed it!  It all went well and clearing up afterwards wasn’t too bad either.  We got some great images.

Below is a small collection of images from the shoot. I’d be interested to know what you think. If you have a child celebrating a birthday soon and you fancy this kind of shoot please get in touch.

Layla’s cake smash

We were delighted to be asked to photograph another cake smash, as they are usually so much fun, and this was no exception.

We’ve been lucky enough to have photographed Layla before and knew she has a lovely little smile.

However she had a serious look throughout the shoot.
As soon as the cake had been cleared away she was full of smiles.  Well they do say never work with children, hahaha

Harley & Ruby

I’ve photographed Harley & Ruby a number of times through our Bump to Babies Package, and a cake smash photoshoot is a great way to round this package off.

On the day of our shoot Harley was in a strop and didn’t want to play or sit down; however he didn’t want to miss out on the cake either.

Both twins were more interested in pulling the chocolate off the top and eating it, leaving the cake and icing intact.  It took a lot of persuasion from Mum and Dad before the kids finally started to smash the cake.

This was a challenging but fun shoot and I hope to get the chance to photograph them again soon.

Cailen’s Cake Smash

I was delighted to be asked to photograph another cake smash, as they are usually good fun, and this was no exception.  Cailen was very confident and didn’t take long to get stuck into his cake.

I think you’ll agree he looks like he enjoyed it!

Jason’s 1st Birthday Cake Smash

I can’t believe it’s a year already since Jason our second grandson was born.  He’s a very serious, inquisitive baby.  He’s developing a great little character and has a great smile, although he doesn’t do it enough!  We had a great time photographing his cake smash, it was his first time eating cake, and I don’t think he was too enamoured with it although he loved the feel of the butter icing.
Happy birthday little buddy
