Our weekend off
It’s been
a very busy year; as well as being very busy at work we’ve had my youngest daughter’s
wedding and a new kitchen. As I actually
had a weekend off we decided to have a spur of the moment break. We found a B&B in Matlock and went
exploring a little of the Peak District.
I don’t
get much time for landscapes so was quite pleased with the results.

I spoke to
an old friend of mine (Dave North) who lives in Derby. When he found out we were in his neck of the
woods he insisted on meeting up for a couple of hours to show us around one of
his favourite picturesque little villages.
