Ray still bowling at 90

I was asked to photograph Ray at Harpole Bowls Club as it was his 90th  birthday and he’s still bowling for the club he helped start up in 1986.
The weather couldn’t make up its mind, one minute hot sunshine the next a heavy rain shower. Although he may not be as agile as he was in 1986, his mind however is still sharp enough and his sense of humour and spirit are great.

Happy 90th Birthday Ray.

Jason’s 1st Birthday Cake Smash

I can’t believe it’s a year already since Jason our second grandson was born.  He’s a very serious, inquisitive baby.  He’s developing a great little character and has a great smile, although he doesn’t do it enough!  We had a great time photographing his cake smash, it was his first time eating cake, and I don’t think he was too enamoured with it although he loved the feel of the butter icing.
Happy birthday little buddy
Below is a small collection of images from the shoot. I’d be interested to know what you think. If you have a child celebrating a birthday soon and you fancy this kind of shoot get in touch.

Amy’s Hen Do

I was asked to photograph a hen do, or at least take some pictures of everyone before they went on the town later in the day.

The theme was the 1950’s tea party (although I’m sure it wasn’t just tea that was consumed!)  I went along at the end of the afternoon and set up a little studio where we had a bit of a laugh and got some nice images.

Below is a small selection of images from the day.

Let me know what you think?
